La Coquerie Farmhouse

La Coquerie is a traditional 17th century, stone farmhouse comfortably furnished with antiques with rolling views over the Gavray valley. Guesta are able to use the enclosed and alarmed heated pool, which is shared with the neighbouring two-person gite.

The accommodation comprises:

Large farmhouse kitchen diner, fully equipped with cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine and tumble drier. Farmhouse table and chairs.

The salon (living / dining room) has a lovely fireplace and log burner (logs provided out of season), English satellite TV, DVD player and stereo system . There is also a selection of books and games.

Upstairs there are: Three en suite bedrooms, sleeping eight + cot, all beautifully furnished and individually decorated with a traditional French feel:

The Honeysuckle Room - sunny double room decorated in soft creams with a traditional French bed and lovely views over the south facing gardens.

The Sweet Pea Room - a smaller double room finished in pale lemon with a traditional French bed and views over the garden and surrounding countryside.

The Jasmine Room - this is a large family room with a double bed and two single beds (and room for a cot) it is tastefully finished in cream with green and soft gold furnishings. This room looks over the gardens and south facing terrace.

Outside the farmhouse has private parking and enclosed gardens with barbecue and terrace. The Garden and swimming pool are just the place to spend a warm summers evening with a good bottle of wine whilst lazing around the pool. French doors lead out to the terrace onto a decked sitting area and then the gardens. There is also a meadow garden suitable for ball games etc and a children's play area.
